Terms of service

These terms govern your use of GetASub. By signing up or using the service you accept them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
1. Who you're contracting with
GetASub is operated by SIMPSON’S VENTURES LTD ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (no. 17169404). Registered office: 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ.
You ("you", "the customer") are the business that subscribes to the service.
2. The service
GetASub is a software-as-a-service product that lets a contracting business post job requirements to a vetted network of sub-contractor partners and manage responses, awards and partner accounts. We host the application, store your data, and provide the customer-facing branding setup described in section 4.
3. Eligibility
You confirm you are a UK-based business and that the person agreeing to these terms is authorised to bind that business.
4. Branding setup
When you subscribe, we set up your hub with your logo and brand colours before handing it over. This is included in the subscription fee. Subsequent rebrands are also included — email us with new assets and we'll redeploy within one working day.
5. Account and security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.
6. Pricing and payment
- The fee is £199 per month. We are not currently VAT-registered. If we become VAT-registered in future we will give you at least 30 days' notice before adding VAT to your subscription.
- Billed monthly in advance by Direct Debit via GoCardless.
- Cancel any time from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. We don't refund part-months.
- If a payment fails we'll retry over a few days. If we still can't collect, we may suspend access until the balance is paid.
7. 30-day money-back guarantee
If GetASub isn't right for you, email us within 30 days of your first payment and we'll refund that month in full, no questions asked. Your hub stays live for the rest of the period you've paid for. After the 30-day window, the standard cancel-anytime terms in section 6 apply.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use GetASub for anything illegal or harmful;
- Upload content that is defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful;
- Share your account with people outside your business without our written permission;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the security of the service;
- Use the service to send unsolicited bulk email.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you've breached this section.
9. Your data and intellectual property
You own your data. We hold it on your behalf to provide the service. You grant us a limited licence to process it for that purpose only. We process your data in line with our Privacy Policy.
You can export your data at any time. After cancellation we keep it for 30 days in case you reactivate, then delete it.
The GetASub platform, including software, design and brand, remains our property.
10. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other party's confidential information confidential and only use it to perform their obligations under these terms.
11. Service availability
We aim for high availability but don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may schedule maintenance windows and will give reasonable notice where we can.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
13. Termination
You can cancel any time. We can terminate immediately if you breach these terms (and don't fix it within 14 days of being asked), become insolvent, or use the service in a way that exposes us to legal risk.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material (e.g. a price rise, or a change in your rights) we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
